What is Miss Universe 2023?
The 72nd edition of the MissUniverse pageant, known as MissUniverse 2023, took place on November 18, 2023, at the Salvador del Mundo Plaza in San Salvador, El Salvador. Sheynnis Palacios from Nicaragua secured the crown, marking a historic first win for her country in the pageant. A total of 84 contestants from various countries and territories participated in the event.
The show was hosted by Jeannie Mai and Olivia Culpo, MissUniverse 2012, for the second consecutive year, alongside Maria Menounos. Backstage correspondents for the second consecutive time were MissUniverse 2018 Catriona Gray and Zuri Hall.
